10th Annual Art For Hearts Fundraiser
The Pico Youth & Family Center is holding the 10th annual Art For Hearts Fundraiser on Saturday at Bergamot Station. The event will feature a silent gallery auction of original artwork on wooden hearts by local and world-renowned artists. Expect live music, food, wine and a tequila tasting. Proceeds benefit the Youth Services in Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

Julia Morgan Legacy Event

Lastly, the Annenberg Community Beach House is hosting the Julia Morgan Legacy event on Sunday. Hear a presentation by Laura Sorvetti, followed by a Q&A, on California's first licensed woman architect. Her 50 years in California architecture left a legacy of more than 700 projects, including a posthumous Gold Medal from the American Institute of Architecture, its highest honor, according to the promoter of the free event. Guests may also visit the Guest House and pool deck to see Morgan's work.
