Do or Die: The Future of HBCUs
This event will focus on the survival of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Dr. Marybeth Gasman, the Judy & Howard Berkowitz Professor of Education at the University of Pennsylvania, will lead the discussion. The Charlotte Post Foundation and the "Charlotte Post" are hosting the event.

Women & Incarceration
This event will honor the memory of Ramona Brant. She died two years after being released from prison. Brant was actively involved in trying to transform the criminal justice system.

Getting Noticed: Demonstrating Impact to Potential Funders

The United Way of Central Carolinas is offering these training sessions to support Unite Charlotte grant recipients and leaders of grassroots organizations. The training is free. You will learn best practices for measuring community impact and sharing those stories with potential funders.
