Among the few types of offenses that saw an uptick last week, reports of theft went from 24 to 25.

There were 80 reports of "other" crimes, a decrease of 15 from the previous week. SpotCrime's broad "other" category includes a variety of offenses like fraud, trespassing, public disturbance and traffic violations. Of those incidents, three involved arrests, such as for drug possession, up from two reported arrests the week before.

Regarding when most crimes are committed, Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays produced the most reported crimes. The largest decrease from the previous week occurred on Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays, while incidents on Wednesdays went up. Late morning, late afternoon and evening saw the most crime.
