A Prophet in 35mm at the Vista

Also on Saturday, check out a midnight screening of the French gangster crime film "A Prophet," playing in 35mm at the Vista. The film, which won the Grand Prix at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, is the first film in a new partnership with La Collectionneuse, which cultivates events that celebrate French and international cinema.

Mpact: Plan A: Women Empowered
Mingle with female film creators at M.P.A.C.T. Events and RL Studios quarterly Women in Film event on Sunday afternoon. With the theme of "Plan A: Women Empowered," the program will screen short films in the genres of comedy and documentary style from creators ages 13 and over, as well as feature an industry panel and an opportunity for networking.
