Discover the beauty of jazz on Wednesday at the March edition of Jazz is Dead with headliners Keyon Harrold and Marcus Strickland. Jazz trumpeter and vocalist Harrold, who got his start as a trumpeter for the rapper Common, has collaborated with musical artists like JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Mac Miller and Mary J. Blige and played all the trumpet parts in the Miles Davis biopic. Strickland, a jazz saxophonist, incorporates West African and American sounds into his music. His latest album, "People of the Sun," was released in 2018.

LA Philharmonic's Green Umbrella Series
