If you've got Italian on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. The fresh arrival to Central Business District, called Sofia Nola, is located at 516 Julia St.

Open for dinner, this place features menu options such as Tuscan kale with beet and hazelnut topped with apple shrub vinaigrette; gulf shrimp scampi with a garlic mousse topped with breadcrumbs; and spicy clam pizza with chili oil, parsley and crunch salt.

Thirsty? Happy hour goes down from 4–6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and libations include beer, wine and signature cocktails. (Check out the website here for more information and a full line of offerings.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition has already made a good impression.

Munzer Q., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 2, wrote, "Went in for brunch on the Friday before Mardi Gras. I love the ambiance and vibe of the place. We tried many plates, meatballs, eggplant, pasta and pizza. The cocktails were amazing."

And Koen P. wrote, "This place is nothing short of being incredible. Amazing vibe, amazing food, amazing staff. I would eat here every day if I could."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Sofia Nola is open from 4–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 4–11 p.m. on Friday, and 5–11 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
