Venice Arts' Annual Speakeasy at the Townhouse

Celebrate Venice Arts at the annual speakeasy at Townhouse Venice on Saturday night. Expect music by DJ Stackhouse, tasty treats from local restaurants and a complimentary whiskey tasting. Proceeds from the event and raffle tickets will benefit free photography and filmmaking programs offered to low-income youth.

Los Angeles City Historical Society Annual Gala & Awards Ceremony

Enjoy Sunday brunch with the Los Angeles City Historical Society as it celebrates its 2019 gala at the Wilson Harding Club House in Griffith Park. The society will present its annual awards and feature talks from Mike Eberts, who wrote "Griffith Park: A Centennial History," and Carolyn Brucken, PhD, who has curated an upcoming exhibit on Griffith Park at the Autry Museum.
