Oscar, domestic shorthair

Oscar is a male domestic shorthair cat staying at Buddies Place Rescue.

He has all of his shots, and he's been neutered.

Oscar's ideal forever home would be a dog-free environment.

From Oscar's caretaker:

Oscar is a lap big boy, all 15 pounds of him! He is an orange tabby who is about 4 years old and was rescued from the back yard of his foster mom’s house when she realized he was such a sweet and affectionate kitty. Oscar loves to be very active and playing with a ribbon toy, catnip mouse, and roll a ball with a bell inside. He doesn’t like dogs and would do best in a home with older children. Oscar has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which means his immune system might be depressed, but he can live a long normal life in a safe indoor home. FIV is not easily spread to other cats and only through deep bites. Oscar would love to complete your house with his big personality and self.

Britta, domestic shorthair and tabby mix

Britta is a female domestic shorthair and tabby mix currently housed at Buddies Place Rescue.

She is vaccinated, and she's been spayed.

From Britta's caretaker:

Britta is a sweet, calm girl looking for a quiet home to call her own. She was found all alone on a playground in August of 2015 when she was only two weeks old and grew up in a Buddies Place foster home with an amazing surrogate mama kitty. Britta was adopted when she was 4 months old, but unfortunately the family wasn’t very kind to her and ultimately returned her 3 years later. She’s glad to be back with her original foster mom, though it’s taking some time for her real personality to shine through after everything she’s been through. Britta is a quiet girl with a quiet voice. She likes to be petted and to sit in her foster mom’s lap making biscuits. Britta also really enjoys sitting on top of the cat tree watching everything going on around her and looking out the window. She’s very gentle and has lived with children and but would prefer older ones.
