Dead Dog's Bone

P.Y.G. or the Mis-Edumacation of Dorian Belle

Then, it's a world premiere from locally-based playwright Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm. Based on George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion", it's the story of a white Canadian rapper who looks to "bad boy" rappers from Chicago to toughen up his image, and touches on the issues of cultural exchange/appropriation inherent in the effort. Tickets are up to 25% off.

The Peculiar Patriot

Finally, there's another chance for discounts, this time for tickets to this one-woman show performed by its author. Liza Jessie Peterson spent decades working with prison populations in New York City.

Those experiences inform her dramatized look at the business side of the mass incarceration, and the impact on the people — disproportionately African-Americans — affected by it.
