Maya, calico mix

Maya is a charming female calico mix staying at Animal Compassion Team of California. Maya wants to be your one and only: She'll need a home free of other cats and children. Dogs are okay. She already has all of her shots, and she's spayed. She is already house-trained.

Here's what Maya's friends at Animal Compassion Team of California think of her:

Maya is looking for a new home. She’s not very happy with her current home since she’s not very fond of other kitty-cats. However she is very people-friendly. If you’ve been looking for an adult cat, Maya might be who you’ve been searching for.

Macey, domestic shorthair

Macey is a lovable female domestic shorthair cat being cared for at Animal Compassion Team of California. No other cats, please: Macey is looking for cat-free household. She already has all of her shots, and she is spayed. Have no fear: she's already house-trained.

Notes from Macey's caretakers:

Macey is a super sweet gal with a gorgeous set of greenish eyes. Macey was rescued from a kill shelter where she was actually on her way to be euthanized when a wonderful shelter employee noticed that ACT had tagged her for life. She pulled Macey and her kittens out and stashed them away until an ACT volunteer could pick her up (only a couple of hours). Macey was truly saved in the nick of time. Now she's loving life and looking forward to her brand new forever home.

Lucas, domestic

Lucas is a male domestic cat being cared for at Animal Compassion Team of California. He's mastered his house-training etiquette. He has all of his shots, and he is neutered.

Lucas' current caretakers say:

Hi my name is Lucas. I've been hanging out here at the ACT Sofia Center for quite some time now,  still looking for that forever home. I'm a high-energy, playful kind of guy. And, you have to admit, I'm very good looking.

Friskie, domestic shorthair mix

Friskie is an adorable female domestic shorthair mix being kept at Valley Animal Center. She's been vaccinated and spayed.

Here's what Friskie's friends at Valley Animal Center think of her:

I came here with my sister Princess Pirate late last year. I'm Friskie by the way, and I have been looking for that family to take me home. When I first came here, I won't lie, I wanted nothing to do with anyone. I would climb up to the highest shelf out in the patio and avoid all human contact. My sister and I were brought here from some very nice people who took us and cared for us for as long as they could. She, however found her new home already. What a lucky girl. I have been working on my socialization skills more and more each day and everyone here says that I'm improving. I used to only stay in one room, but now I roam everywhere. I found out that cat treats are my weakness, and I run when I hear the bag of treats.
