Friskie, domestic shorthair mix

Friskie is a charming almost-4-year-old female domestic shorthair mix currently housed at Valley Animal Center.

Her vaccinations are already up to date, and she's been spayed. She has work to do on house-training etiquette.

About Friskie:

My sister and I were brought here by nice people who took us and cared for us for as long as they could. I have been working on my socialization skills more and more each day and everyone here says that I'm improving! I do well with other cats. I'm very independent and don't see myself being a lap cat anytime soon, but if you have the patience I'm sure I can get there.

Becca, domestic shorthair mix

Becca is a darling 4-year-old female domestic shorthair mix being cared for at Valley Animal Center.

Her vaccinations are already up to date, and she's been spayed. She needs some more practice with her house-training etiquette.

From Becca's current caretaker:

Becca was surrendered to us in March. We discovered that she had ongoing medical issues that had gone undiagnosed. We quickly had our veterinarian look at her and she was soon diagnosed with a urinary tract infection brought on by stress. Our veterinarian decided that keeping Becca on a special urinary diet specially formulated for high stress cats would be the best for her and keeping her on this diet will significantly lower the chances of re-occurrence. Becca is the sweetest girl with the cutest meow in the world. She did not let her discomfort change her attitude one bit. She will be the perfect addition to any home that is willing to give her a chance.
