Participants should come prepared with the following information & documents: IRS Designation/ 501(c)3 documents; recent annual operating budgets and annual reports; list of Board of Directors (members and bios); statement of organizational purpose, mission and vision; statement of organizational structure (# of employees, volunteers and partners) and website and media links.

Attendees will learn how this fourth-generation family-owned business combined three vacant spaces into one showroom and retail space, turning it into Detroit's first-ever decorative plumbing showroom that features functioning toilets, shower heads and faucets. Guided tours of the Advance Plumbing warehouse will be given to fully reveal the behind-the-scenes process for creating dynamic spaces.

Light the City Up Community Event
From the event description:
The goal of this event is to empower the citizens of Detroit with free resources (Detroit Land Bank, mental health resources, home buyer education and more) brought directly to the city. With Detroit being on the upswing, we plan to utilize this time to connect with other people that are doing great things and to pour back into the real community and be a source of inspiration and togetherness through prayer, songs and love. The first 35 people registered who attend will receive cash envelopes containing up to $50. Networking opportunities, mimosas and light snacks will be available.
