Houla is full of energy. She is a Catahoula mix and is about 9 months old. She weighs around 35 to 40 pounds. She is good with dogs. She would love to have another playful, energetic doggy to play with and an active family that will take her for walks.

Waffles is a sweet girl who loves to play. She's a huge fan of squeaky toys and loves to bounce around on them. She's got a real zest for life and absolutely loves everyone that she meets. She is approximately 10 months old, so she is still in her puppy play stage and is super silly. You won't ever get tired of this little girl's silly faces. If you want a little bundle of love to enjoy life with, she is your girl. Waffles does have some medical needs, so a patient and attentive home is an absolute must.

Roscoe is a charming male Doberman pinscher dog being kept at Doberman Rescue of New Mexico.

Roscoe is friendly as can be — he gets along well with other dogs. He's mastered his house-training etiquette. He's neutered, and he has all his shots.

Roscoe is a very calm and laid back 2-year-old red Dobie, surrendered to us when his owner could no longer care for him. This boy came from a rough situation (backyard breeder). He was separated from his mom at 4 weeks of age, extremely sick and malnourished. Roscoe is good with older children, other dogs and people. He loves to play in water and enjoys car rides. He has never been around cats.

Foxy loves to socialize, and she gets along well with other dogs. She is already house-trained. She is vaccinated and spayed.

Foxy has a lovely spirit, is just a doll and very delightful as described by PACA's behaviorlist/trainer. She would be an easy keeper because of her natural affinity for humans and gentleness. She enjoys walks and together time with her humans. She is calm and wouldn't need a lot of exercise. She is good with dogs and kids. She is very friendly. Her family moved and some relatives took her, but it didn't work out as they didn't have time for her, and she was left alone for many, many hours. Foxy just needs a break and to find that forever home that will love her and appreciate her for the sweetie she is.

Kiwi is a male Australian shepherd and Australian cattle dog mix being kept at EnchantMutts, Inc.

Kiwi loves other dogs and cats. EnchantMutts, Inc., however, thinks he will do best in a home without small children. He's already house-trained. He is already vaccinated and neutered.

Kiwi's current caretakers say:

This loyal Aussie mix boy’s dad passed away early this year and a very nice neighbor took him in so he wouldn’t have to go to the shelter. She is trying to find Kiwi’s forever home where he can live the rest of his life – loved and cared for. He is a steadfast, loyal boy who gives his all to his family. Kiwi is about 8 years old, 88+ pounds and just the sweetest. He is an Australian Shepherd mix and truth be told – packing a few extra pounds. His neighbor is working on that and he’s doing well. He still has great energy and loves to walk the property and follow his savior everywhere. He gets along with others with the right introductions, but in a perfect world he would love to reap all the loving for himself and perhaps a few kitties, and he does like the kitties. He is used to being the big boy on the block and, if he has to share attention, he does well with gentle unassuming dogs.

Colt is a male border collie and Great Pyrenees mix in the care of EnchantMutts, Inc.

Colt will get along great with your other dogs. EnchantMutts, Inc., however, recommends he be placed in a home without small children. He's neutered and vaccinated. Have no fear: He has already house-trained.

Colt's current caretakers say:

This 3-year-old border collie/Pyrenees mix boy probably has a story to tell about his past … but you know what — he has forgotten all about it. Colt only sees the good side of everything, and he is ready to find his perfect home. Colt is an easygoing lad with a goofy sense of humor — he seems to find the “happy” in everything. His great temperament is combined with the smarts of a Border collie. He knows he is a goof and just doesn’t care. He currently weighs in at about 65 pounds, and we suspect he should be at 70 or 75, and we are working on that.
