A new Italian spot, offering pizza and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 410 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 120, the newcomer is called Ada's.
Named for legendary bar woman Ada Coleman of the Savoy Hotel, the latest venture from chef James Trees (of Esther's Kitchen) offers such pizzas as Margherita (local mozzarella, tomato and basil) and Calabrian (soppressata, chili, tomato and mozzarella), as well as pasta and salads. (Check out the full menu.)
With a five-star rating out of 23 reviews on Yelp so far, Ada's has already made a good impression.
Norm K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 2, wrote, "It is such a pleasure to have Ada's in the area near Summerlin in Tivoli Village. For the main course, I went with an old friend, the rigatoni carbonara, which has carbonara, egg yolk, guanciale and peas. This is probably the best carbonara pasta I've had. Very al dente with a wonderful cream sauce hugging the house-made pasta, it was a delight."
And Brad K. wrote, "What a great new edition to the dining culture of Summerlin and Las Vegas. Chef James Trees has a massive hit on his hands. The location is great and the addition of the specialty ice cream bar is an added bonus."
