A new cocktail bar and event space has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 819 S. Flower St. in Downtown, the fresh arrival is called The Queensberry.

This new business serves up handcrafted cocktails. On the menu, expect to see items like Dr. Funk with dark rum, lemon, lime, demerara, pomegranate, herbstura and soda; Il Napolitano with gin, lemon, Aperol, honey and cherry bitters; and La Maria, La Estrella with tequila, pineapple, grenadine and orange bitters.

With a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new cocktail bar has gotten a good response.

Tatyana K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 17, wrote, "[A] secret new spot with delicious craft cocktails and a sweet lounge vibe. Brought to you by Circa 93 who also owns The Association, The Room and The Continental Club. If you've been to any of these places you can expect the same level of service and cocktail art, but better."

Yelper Brandon B. added, “Awesome venue. Enter from an alley and enjoy the beautiful bar. Great food and drinks.”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: The Queensberry is open from 5 p.m.–2 a.m. on Wednesday-Saturday. (It's closed on Monday, Tuesday and Sunday.)
