We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to deduce which eateries have been most discussed this month.
To find out who made the list, we looked at Anaheim businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on the number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month and tracked businesses that consistently increased their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers compared to past performance.

Cultivation Kitchen
Open since April 2019, this breakfast and brunch spot, which offers New American and vegetarian cuisine, is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Breakfast & Brunch" on Yelp.
Citywide, breakfast and brunch spots saw a median 1.3% increase in new reviews over the past month, but Cultivation Kitchen saw a substantial 269.6% increase, with a slight downward trend from a five-star rating a month ago to 4.5 stars today.
It's not the only trending outlier in the breakfast and brunch category: Lit Cafe has seen a 55% increase in reviews.
Located at 350 S. Anaheim Blvd. in the Colony, Cultivation Kitchen features avocado toast with two sunny side up eggs, blood orange ricotta pancakes, brioche French toast and build-your-own gluten-free granola with choice of fruit and milk.
Black Tap
Whether or not you've been hearing buzz about Anaheim Resort's Black Tap, the spot to score burgers is a hot topic according to Yelp review data.
While businesses categorized as "Burgers" on Yelp saw a median 2.0% increase in new reviews over the past month, Black Tap bagged an impressive 375% increase in new reviews within that timeframe, maintaining a mixed 3.5-star rating.
Open at 1540 S. Disneyland Drive, Suite 101 since April 2019, Black Tap offers a selection of signature burger combinations, such as the All-American burger with American cheese and special sauce and the turkey burger with an all-natural turkey burger, smashed avocado, Swiss cheese and truffle mayo.
Decades Bar and Grill
The Colony's Decades Bar and Grill is also making waves. Open since October 2018 at 195 W. Center St., Promenade, the New American spot, cocktail bar and dance club has seen an 11.8% bump in new reviews over the last month, compared to a median review increase of 1.5% for all businesses tagged "American (New)" on Yelp. Over the past month, it's maintained a superior 4.5-star rating among Yelpers.
Decades Bar and Grill serves up steamed garlic edamame, bacon-wrapped jalapeños, a pesto mayo chicken sandwich and the Danger Zone burger with roasted poblano chiles, serrano chiles, provolone, bacon and guacamole.
