Food trends come and go. So how can you tell which tastes are trending right now?
We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to analyze which local businesses have been getting a notable uptick in attention this month.
To find out who made the list, we looked at Las Vegas businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month, and tracked businesses that consistently increased their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers compared to past performance.
Read on to see which spots are on a hot streak this summer.
Vegan Bliss

Open since June, this vegan and breakfast and brunch spot is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Breakfast & Brunch" on Yelp.
Citywide, breakfast and brunch spots saw a median 2.7% increase in new reviews over the past month, but Vegan Bliss saw an impressive 116.7% increase, maintaining a terrific five-star rating throughout.
Located at 6410 N. Durango Drive in Centennial Hills, the family-owned restaurant offers 100% plant-based cuisine. Divine Eatery

Whether or not you've been hearing buzz about Centennial's Divine Eatery, the New American and breakfast and brunch spot, which offers burgers and more, is a hot topic according to Yelp review data.
While businesses categorized as "American (New)" on Yelp saw a median 1.8% increase in new reviews over the past month, Divine Eatery bagged a 4.2% increase in new reviews within that time frame, maintaining a healthy four-star rating. It significantly outperformed the previous month by gaining 4.3 times more reviews than expected based on its past performance.
