A new museum has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Museum of Dream Space, the new addition is located in the Beverly Center at 8500 Beverly Blvd., Suite 656 in Beverly Grove.
Museum of Dream Space is the first digital art museum in the United States, according to the website. Inspired by Yayoi Kusama's infinite rooms, the museum provides an immersive art experience.
The fresh addition has received mixed reviews thus far, with a three-star rating out of 144 reviews on Yelp.
Sarah T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 1, wrote, "If you love Instagram worthy photos, you will absolutely love this place... My first tip is: definitely come during a weekday if you can... A lot of the rooms change colors or patterns, so take advantage of the different scenery in each room. Also, the staff was super helpful in giving us tips on how to take photos and taking photos for us."
Yelper Han Lam V. added, “Though this exhibit is small, it is breathtakingly gorgeous inside. I went maybe an hour before closing and there [were] hardly any people there, so we got to take our time taking photos.”
