Love to work out in the middle of the day, but struggling to find a great class without huge crowds? You don’t have to sacrifice your health and fitness to your job. Hoodline and ClassPass, the fitness subscription service, have teamed up to bring you this report on some of the top lunch-hour workouts from studios in and around LA. 

With the help of ClassPass' data, we found the most popular workout sessions between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., so you can be back in time for your afternoon meetings. Our report covers locations around the city, so you’re never far from a class, no matter where your job takes you.

Joining ClassPass gives you access to these and thousands of other studios, gyms and wellness offerings — including in other cities, if you travel for work. 

Open Gym at Built Gymnasium

Open Gym hours at Built Gymnasium is just what it sounds like: work out on your own or join a class in progress. 

“Whether you want to hop on a treadmill, elliptical, stairmaster or sculpt and tone with free weights or machines, you can find it all at Built,” the venue writes on ClassPass. “Arrive at any time during your reservation window and stay for 10 minutes or 2 hours — you do you.”

Once you book a class, the gym suggests you arrive 15 minutes before the start time. As far as your g, comfortable athletic clothing and well-supported shoes are suggested.

Sessions run throughout the lunch hour — visit the ClassPass site to book. Those that kick off earlier tend to be the least crowded, according to ClassPass data. You can also check out Instagram (builtgymelporto) and Facebook for more. 

Gym Access at Raw Performance

Another free-form option comes from Raw Performance, where you can drop into the gym to take a class or do your own workout. 

The facility “is tailored with strength and powerlifting equipment,” according to ClassPass. “They welcome clients at all fitness levels and goals.”

Open Gym hours run from noon to 2 p.m. every weekday, and no time is particularly more busy than others, ClassPass data show.

Gym Access at Fit Nation Gym

This gym also features lunchtime open hours, where you can use the equipment or help yourself to the free weights.

Fit Nation Gym strives to “bring an experience in a unique atmosphere that will help motivate you to reach your fitness goals,” according to ClassPass.
