Goodale Station

Goodale Station is a rooftop bar and restaurant on the 12th floor of the Canopy by Hilton Columbus hotel. With a kitchen helmed by chef Tripp Mauldin, the spot features such entrees as pork belly, duck confit and Ohio wagyu New York strip steak, while the bar offers a variety of craft cocktails, beers by regional brewers, whiskeys and wines. 

Goodale Station currently holds 4.5 stars out of five reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Whistle & Keg is a new spot in the Arena District that specializes in self-serve, pay-by-the-ounce craft beer, wine, mead, cider and kombucha. Patrons use a system of electronic wrist bands to buy their beverages. The new business is part of a small chain that also operates locations in Cleveland and Youngstown. 

With a four-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp, Whistle & Keg has been getting positive attention.

Flatiron Tavern

Flatiron Tavern is a sports bar offering traditional American fare. Formerly the Flatiron Bar & Diner, the retooled spot offers snacks, as well as sandwiches, salads and Philly cheesesteaks. Try the spinach and artichoke dip served with pita, the Impossible burger with lettuce, tomato and onion or the buffalo chicken sweet potato fries.

Flatiron Tavern is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and 5 p.m.–midnight on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
