Woman fatally stabbed in Northeast; suspect in custody
Police found a 37-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man suffering from stab wounds in the 3500 block of Chesterfield Avenue early Thursday. The woman later died, becoming the first homicide victim of 2020. A suspect was taken into custody Thursday afternoon.

Man robbed, set on fire in East Baltimore
Police said during the robbery, the 59-year-old victim felt a liquid thrown against the back of his head and, before he could turn around, he was set on fire. He was robbed of his wallet and headphones. The man was taken to an area hospital to be treated for burns to the back of his head.
