Meet the Artist: Nathaniel Stern

From the event description:

Join us for an artist talk/meet the artist event with provocative artist, Nathaniel Stern. Artist and writer Nathaniel Stern exhibits a range of possibilities and potential for our electronic waste with sculptures, prints, photographs and experiments that encourage viewers to consider their relationship with technology and nature. Combining plant life with electronic waste and scientific experimentation with artistic exploration, the multi-faceted installation includes a wall-hung jungle of computer detritus and plant life, fossilized and reconfigured phones and laptops, and imaginatively re-purposed electronics. The exhibition is a timely provocation that will leave viewers contemplating how we might change our ecological trajectory.

When: Saturday, Feb. 29, 2–3 p.m.
Where: Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel - The ARC Theatre, 139 E. Kilbourn Ave.
