Adams Morgan's location of the national chain Pitango Gelato & Café, located at 1841 Columbia Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the affordable Italian spot 4.5 stars out of 99 reviews.

We turned there for an overview of Pitango Gelato & Café.

"On a quest to find the best milk possible, Noah set up our own dairy on Pennsylvania's Spring Wood Organic Farm, a pioneer in grass-fed, organic farming."

Furthermore, we found this about the business's signature items: "Pitango Gelato & Cafe serves sandwiches made with authentic Italian ingredients, salads, breads and pastries, plus cocktails and coffee, as well as freshly spun gelato and sorbet," it states on Yelp.

"Our breads and pastries are made at our own Baltimore bakery, and our sandwiches are prepared with authentic imported Italian meats and cheeses. Pitango gelato is made with grass-fed organic milk, and we are committed to creating a simple, pure and wholesome product without artificial flavorings, colorings or chemicals."
