33-Year-Old Shot Multiple Times in Santa Rosa

A Santa Rosa man found himself in dire and critical condition as a result of a harrowing act of gun violence. According to a statement released by the Santa Rosa Police Department, the 33-year-old man, whose identity has been withheld for the time being, was shot multiple times in the 700 block of Aston Avenue.

As the story unfolds, we learn that the victim was driving his vehicle and had stopped at a gated entry point for a residential condominium complex when he was approached by a suspect armed with a handgun. The details of what transpired next remain hazy, with the suspect shooting at the victim multiple times and then fleeing the scene in an unknown vehicle, moving eastbound on Aston Avenue and evading responding officers.

The Violent Crimes Investigation Team are now working tirelessly in an attempt to pinpoint the individual, or individuals, responsible for this heinous act. The motive for the shooting remains unclear at this stage, detectives are calling on the community for help in identifying the suspect or suspects.
