As reported by LAPD, on September 23, a man was brutally murdered in broad daylight by an unknown suspect in Los Angeles, igniting fear and raising questions about the safety of our neighborhoods.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. in Vermont Square, LAPD 77th Street Area patrol officers rushed to the scene, responding to an “ADW Shots Fired” radio call at Denver Avenue and 51st Place. The terrifying scene they found was one of devastation: a man shot dead in his vehicle. Despite the best efforts of Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, the victim's life slipped away before he could be saved.
Los Angeles Police Department South Bureau Homicide detectives are calling upon the citizens for their assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting. T
