A hit-and-run in Hollywood has caused police to search for the driver of a Chevrolet Corvette, as reported by KTLA. Witnesses describe the vehicle as a distinctive rapid blue luxury sports car, likely manufactured between 2020 and 2023. After hitting a man on La Brea Avenue, the driver chose to leave the scene without providing aid.
The victim was identified as Loryn Cole, a 33-year-old homeless individual. According to KFIA Local News, Cole was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel. Police believe speed could have been a contributing factor to the incident, all while the potential involvement of alcohol or drugs has not been ruled out.
In an attempt to quickly locate, the driver of the Corvette Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the perpetrator's identification and capture. The Corvette's unique color might assist in identifying the perpetrator. This model, there were only 2,261 units produced in 2022 according to the National Corvette Museum.
