
In a neighborhood of San Bernardino County, a residential break-in took place on Saturday, October 7. Perpetrators escaped, but a stolen vehicle was left behind, states Victor Valley Sheriff's Department. The incident unfolded in a home located on the 1200 block of Kenwood Road in El Mirage, when two unidentified individuals' intent to rob the home were luckily foiled by the armed home owner. In an intense moment, the firearm was discharged into the ground causing the intruders to hastily retreat westward, and leave their stolen auto behind.
As investigators continue working on the case, it has come to light that the discarded vehicle was reported stolen in Los Angeles County.
