An attempted armed robbery recently occurred near the 12000 block of Perris Boulevard, Moreno Valley, in Riverside County. The suspect, a male of Hispanic descent around the age of 30, brandished a black firearm at employees and demanded cash from the safe before fleeing, as per Riverside Country Sheriffs's office.
Though law enforcement arrived to quickly, they didn't manage capturing the suspect. These instances remind us of the ongoing struggles between socioeconomic adversity, residual effects of past injustice, and public safety issues.
Those with information related to the case are urged to reach out to Deputy Flores #6292 at the Riverside Sheriff's Moreno Valley Station at (951) 486–6700. For media-related queries, they can contact the Media Information Bureau.
