Yesterday, an attempted murder occurred in the mountain community of Crestline, California. A victim had been shot in the 24000 block of Lake Drive. Two suspects, 43-year-old Brian Serrano from Sun City and Jaime Rojas, a 46-year-old resident of Santa Ana, were subsequently apprehended, according to a press release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
Around 2:30 a.m., the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station received a report of an assault involving a deadly weapon. A victim with gunshot wounds was discovered during the investigation, and was promptly transported to a local hospital. As the suspects were trying to leave the scene, they were taken into custody by law enforcement.
As per the press release, Serrano has been arrested for attempted murder and is being held at the Central Detention Center. Rojas is in a hospital, treated for his injuries incurred and will be booked after recovery facing charges for conspiracy to commit attempted murder. The authorities have not yet issued additional details.
