Last week, September 27, a man assaulted a woman and a teenager in Twentynine Palms, California. The suspect, 31-year-old Marquis Woodberry of Banning, California, first struck a 15-year-old before attacking an adult woman. Swiftly apprehended by law enforcement, Woodberry faces charges of felony spousal assault and child endangerment, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Morongo Basin Sheriff's Department responded to the disturbance call on Joshua Drive. On the scene, deputies discovered Woodberry to punch the 15-year-old in the face. The second victim, a woman, was struck in the face after asking Woodberry to leave.

Upon trying to escape, Woodberry was soon located near the intersection of Highway 62 and Sunburst Street in Joshua Tree, leading to his arrest. He was subsequently booked into Morongo Basin Jail on charges of felony spousal assault and child endangerment, as reported by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
