
Celebrity chef Curtis Stone's popular pop-up, The Pie Room, is due to open in a permanent location at Westfield Topanga's Topanga Social notes What Now Los Angeles. It originally functioned as an interim venture known as The Pie Room by Gwen at Stone's temporarily closed restaurant, Maude.
For also being The Pie Room's new home, the Westfield Topanga's website showcases the restaurant's inviting atmosphere. Patrons can unwind on the patio with a drink and a delightful pie, or purchase to share with friends and family at home. The Michelin Star chef will dish out an assortment of Australian-inspired sweet and savory pastries, like the salted caramel apple pies and the tantalizing lamb curry hotpots.
Stone and his team are yet to officially announce the opening, but Topanga Social patrons are looking forward to its arrival. The Pie Room, backed by Stone's Michelin-star status and his fresh take on traditional pies, is expected to get a dedicated customer base hungry for a dose of Australian cuisine.
The Pie Room, which initially operated as a pop-up from the then-shuttered Maude restaurant, quickly built a large fanbase and a reputation for serving extraordinary pastries. As it gears up to open at Topanga Social, Stone's dream of sharing Australian culinary delights is soon to become a permanent staple on the Los Angeles food map.
