Earlier today, a shooting incident occurred in Duarte, a community located in the San Gabriel Valley. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) Homicide Bureau's press release, detectives are currently investigating the fatal shooting that took place on the 1000 block of Kellwil Way.
At roughly 1:44 a.m., an adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. The unknown suspect or suspects are still at large. As this is an active investigation, information is limited. Lieutenant Gomez and the LASD Homicide Bureau are seeking information from potential witnesses or anyone aware of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
