Earlier today, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department initiated an investigation into a death on the 1000 block of West 227th Street in Torrance. Reported at about 4:15 a.m., a deceased male adult was found upon arrival. Although the Homicide Bureau is in the course of the investigation under Lieutenant Arturo Spencer's supervision, the victim's identity and potential suspects are yet to be determined, according to the LASD report.
