
On October 24, in the Fairfield suburban community, law enforcement nabbed a convicted felon carrying an illegal firearm during a regular traffic run. Officer Tuss encountered an illegally parked vehicle, leading to the noteworthy arrest, Fairfield Police Department reported on Facebook.
While interacting with the improperly parked vehicle's driver, Officer Tuss spotted an open beer can in the central console and, as well as a loaded .44 caliber revolver on the backseat.
The driver, 34-year-old Fairfield resident Charles Grant, was promptly arrested. A subsequent investigation revealed that Grant is a convicted felon, making his possession of firearms illegal.
