
Yesterday, a residential structure fire, accompanied by a tragic fatality, turned the attention of the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District to peculiar circumstances in the area of North Seine Ave, San Bernardino. Intervention details and additional predicaments were disclosed in their official report.
Upon response, firefighters encountered smoke swirling from the attic space of a single-story dwelling. Despite challenging interior blockades and dense smoke, success was achieved in gaining entry and locating an adult male. Although promptly rescued and given advanced medical assistance on scene, the unfortunate individual succumbed to injuries at a nearby hospital, as mentioned by the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District.
The involved firefighters were further challenged while attempting to put out the flames and manage the smoke, discovering disconcerting items within the house. This discovery dictated precautionary measures be maintained until the arrival of fire investigators and law enforcement.
