Earlier today, a substantial fire broke out at a Valley Glen four-plex, causing considerable property damage. The scene was promptly attended to by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). Working efficiently, firefighters managed to contain the damage to two bedrooms, thereby saving the adjacent units from destruction, as reported by the LAFD ALERT.
The LAFD undertook primary and secondary search operations to clear any residents from the units. Thanks to their efforts, the fire was completely extinguished by 11:50 AM with no reported injuries, according to the Knockdown Structure Fire alert.
A total of 48 firefighters from various stations, namely E102, E239, E260, E278, E288, E60, E88, E89, and E90, were notably successful in controlling the fire within 25 minutes.
Currently, LAFD is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
