Early Monday morning, a heated argument at the trendy West Hollywood nightclub Apt 200 resulted in a security guard being shot by a clubgoer. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) stated that, after being ejected from the venue, the alleged shooter returned and escalated violence.
Around 12:50 a.m., having returned to the club with a handgun, the alleged shooter inflicted, a gunshot wound to the leg of the security guard. Upon arrival, responding officers quickly detained the suspect, forestalling further injuries. There were no other injuries related to the incident.
As per KTLA report, eyewitness footage of the incident gives insight into the ensuing chaos. The injured security guard was promptly transported to a local hospital in stable condition, owing to swift medical attention.
