Early yesterday, a house fire broke out in Hyde Park.
On arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) found a one-story, single-family dwelling with visible smoke. The LAFD Alert states that firefighters aggressively combated the fire, which was localized to one room. Residents had all safely evacuated before the LAFD's arrival.
The LAFD stated in its report that 30 firefighters extinguished the fire in just 12 minutes. No injuries was reported. Investigations to determine the cause of the fire and property damage estimate are ongoing.
