Yesterday, a structure fire ignited in a vacant single-family home at Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles. Officials initially cited the address as 2687 N Pasadena Avenue, later rectifying it to 2651 N Pasadena Avenue. Firefighters promptly arrived to extinguish the fire, concentrated mainly in the building's attic, as reported by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
The fire was subdued within twelve minutes due to the quick and coordinated actions of 22 firefighters. The affected building, erected in 1949, measured a modest 432 square feet and was laden with excessive storage. Impressively, the fire was largely confined to the attic, mitigating further damage, and no injuries were reported, as per the LAFD update.
The cause of the fire remains uncertain and is under investigation.
