Councilwoman Park spoke about the significance of collaboration in overcoming homeless encampments in the region.

As per the Office of the Mayor, Los Angeles article, Inside Safe comprises of five goals tailored to boost the welfare of the homeless and the wider community. These objectives encompass reducing on-street fatalities, broadening access to mental health and substance misuse treatment, eradicating street encampments, and enhancing long-term housing stability for the homeless. Furthermore, the initiative aims to elevate neighborhoods' safety and cleanliness for all.

So far, Inside Safe has been employed in 29 Los Angeles encampments, providing residential rehabilitation to over 1,600 individuals as of October 2023, according to the Office of the Mayor, Los Angeles. Besides Inside Safe, various methods were deployed to expedite the construction of affordable housing on city-owned property for timely and permanent housing solutions.

Culver City Mayor Albert Vera lauded the ongoing, concentrated efforts in providing shelter and services to the city's homeless. He heralded the diligent, empathetic, and collaborative efforts of the Inside Safe teams and the City of Los Angeles for their role in addressing the homelessness crisis. Culver City is extending its resources for the homeless, recently adding 157 temporary and permanent supportive housing units and shelters, as cited in the new release of the City of Culver City.
