Inviting everyone - from ardent enthusiasts to first-timers - the event promises a day full of recreational shooting competition, aiming to promote inclusion and equality for over 35,000 SOSC athletes. As noted on its official website, registering to participate provides attendees with 100 clay targets, 100 shells (12 Gauge), breakfast, and lunch, alongside a raffle ticket. Also on offer is the opportunity to engage with Special Olympic Athletes, make purchases from onsite vendors, and take memorable photographs with Tactical Santa.
Every cent earned from the Clay Shoot for Inclusion will provide direct support for the Special Olympics Southern California. Traditionally, the organization ensures cost-free athlete participation, covering the costs of uniforms, travelling, and meals. Funds raised can drastically affect these athletes' lives, for example, $500 can support one athlete's entire competition year, while $35 is enough to purchase a new uniform.
Registration details for the 3rd Annual Clay Shoot for Inclusion, along with detailed information about the supported cause, can be found on the event's official website, ShootForInclusion.org.
