In the underground parking lot at the North Hollywood Community Police Station on Monday, October 9, a Los Angeles Police Department officer accidentally discharged a department-issued shotgun during a pre-shift inspection.
The inadvertent round hit the ceiling, causing no injuries.
The Force Investigation Division is investigating, as reported by the LAPD Newsroom.
