
Yesterday, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) successfully executed a hiker rescue operation in Griffith Park. A distress signal received at 6:14 p.m. activated the LAFD's Air Ops unit. The unit swiftly located and hoisted a 55-year-old woman to safety after she fell 10' and sustained facial injuries.
