
Yesterday, a grass fire broke out near NB 110 Freeway and Anaheim St. in Wilmington. Thanks to a rapid response from the Los Angeles Fire Department, the blaze was quickly controlled. According to the LAFD alert, the fire, initially covering half an acre, spread slowly, posing no threat to structures.
In a display of efficiency, fire crews swiftly controlled the situation. A follow-up LAFD alert reported that 20 firefighters from various stations responded. Within an hour, the fire was contained to under half an acre. Some trees were involved, but impressively, no structural damage or injuries were reported. The fire's cause is currently under investigation.
