Earler today, a fire erupted in a Jack In The Box fast food restaurant, situated at 11400 S Figueroa St in the Vermont Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Fire Department successfully battled the flames, demonstrating their readiness and effectiveness.
The LAFD Alert announced the structure fire at 01:50 PM. Initially reported as having begun aggressively, swiftly responded to by local fire station, FS 64, additional units from the South Bureau, and Council District 8. LAFD ensured the local community were informed and safe throughout the event.
The LAFD reported that it took only 45 minutes for the first responding 30 firefighters to successfully extinguish the fire. This prompt response limited further damage to the surrounding area.
Following the incident, the LAFD launched an investigation into the fire's origin. The restaurant, a 2800-square foot building, built in 2002, was functioning at the incident time. In a fortunate turn of events, there were to report no injuries.
