On Tuesday, October 3,  the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) Major Crimes Bureau and Marina del Rey Station reported the arrest of a suspect linked to multiple hate crime vandalism incidents across the jurisdiction of the LASD, the Los Angeles Police Department, and the Inglewood Police Department. 37-year-old Robert Haymore, is suspected to be involved in at least 13 incidents of offensive swastika graffiti on vehicles parked on public streets, according to an LASD report published on yesterday.

Residents of Los Angeles County have expressed concern due to a recent uptick in hate crimes. The LASD encourages any individuals with additional information or who believe they may have been victims to speak with Detective Wong of the Major Crimes Bureau at 323-267-4819.

Haymore's arrest and the related crimes reflect a national trend, with reports of hate crimes increasing around the country. To better understand the motivations behind these acts remains a focus of ongoing investigations.

This case will be submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for consideration for filing charges.
