
Yesterday, a hit-and-run accident occurred on Temple Street, Los Angeles, resulting in the death of a 37-year-old male pedestrian. After reportedly experiencing a medical emergency and losing consciousness, the man was struck by a metallic sky blue Toyota Camry, model year 2007 to 2011. The driver left the scene immediately after the incident. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) seeks public assistance to identify and apprehend the liable party as reported by the LAPD News Release.

The Los Angeles Administrative Code was changed by the City Council in 2015, creating the Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. This program offers a reward up to $50,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to the offender's identification, apprehension, conviction, or civil compromise. Meanwhile, the LAPD's investigation continues, and the city's residents are encouraged to aid quickly bringing in the resolution for this tragic event.
