
Victor Alfonzo was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, evading a police officer, and driving without a license, following a high-speed police chase in Lucerne Valley on Sunday, October 8. The details of the incident were outlined in a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
According to the release, Alfonzo, when instructed to stop his 2001 Chevy truck due to expired registration, he sped away, causing a high-speed pursuit to ensue. Alfonzo has a history of substance abuse and traffic violations. His most recent arrest, for driving under the influence, was made by the California Highway Patrol last month on September 24.
