The Laguna Beach Police Department spearheaded its latest operation on Sunday, October 29, cracking down on excessive speed and vehicles with loud or modified exhaust systems in Orange County, California. The police stopped 50 vehicles for various violations, issued 15 citations for loud or modified exhaust, and 22 citations for speed offenses, with 10 citations for other infractions. Police Chief Jeff Calvert voiced his concerns over speeding and noise violations, stating that their persistence necessitates taking a zero-tolerance stance on enforcement.
