Yesterday, The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) requested public assistance to locate missing juvenile Jubari Douglas. The 15-year-old, who has severe autism, was last seen in Palmdale, California, on October 24, as reported via a Nixle alert. The community effort to share information and search for Jubari is already in full swing.

As detailed in the LASD's Nixle alert, Jubari Douglas is a Black male, 5-feet-9-inches tall, and weighing 130 pounds, with braided black hair and brown eyes. His clothing description is unknown, and the severity of his autism adds to the concerns about his well-being and the urgency of finding him.

Palmdale residents have rallied behind the search in various forms, with social media serving as a hub to share Jubari's information. Local businesses have thrown their support behind the LASD's request for help, engaging their customers in the shared goal of finding Jubari.

Residents, therefore, are urged to be attentive to any clues of Jubari's whereabouts. According to the LASD, any information, however seemingly trivial, can positively impact their search efforts. Those with potential leads can contact the Palmdale Sheriff's Station Detective Bureau at (661) 272-2400.

The LASD provides "Crime Stoppers" at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or the "P3 Tips" Mobile APP, as additional channels for anonymous tip-offs. More details can be accessed on the LA Crime Stoppers website.
